Ingredients:
- 2 cups of okra, chopped and NOT INCLUDING THE HEADS
- 3 tablespoons of cumin powder
- 1 garlic clove, peeled and chopped finely
- 2 tablespoons of turmeric
- 5 tablespoons of lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons of shredded coconut
- 2 tablespoons of fengugreek powder
- 2 tablespoons of avocado oil
- 1 tablespoon of mustard seeds
Instructions:
- Heat a pan on a low flame and add the avocado oil to it once its heated.
- Add the mustard seeds to the pan and wait for them to sizzle.
- Now add the chopped garlic clove, cumin powder, fenugreek powder and turmeric to the pan and give it a quick stir.
- Add the okra and shredded coconut to the pan and let them cook until the okra is soft (that’s a sign its cooked well!).
- Finally, add your lemon juice to the pan.
- Give the dish a quick stir.
- Let your dish cool and serve.
