Chocolate truffles

  1. 2 cups of cocoa powder
  2. 1 cup of macadamia nuts
  3. 4 tablespoons of macadamia oil
  4. 1/4 cup of hazelnuts
  5. 10 tablespoons of peanut butter
  6. 1/8 cup of orange juice
  7. 1/8 cup of frozen strawberries
  8. 2 tablespoons of lavender oil

Instructions:

  1. Put all the ingredients in a food processcer and process until you have an appropriate puree for truffles.
  2. Shape the puree into balls using your palms, on a plate
  3. Keep, them in the fridge for 10-15 minuets
  4. Serve

Dhal recipe (default) for R’s food blog

Dhal Ingredients:

  1. 1 cup of red lentils
  2. 2.5 cups of water 
  3. 1 tablespoon of turmeric 

Instructions:

  1. Soak your lentils with water and then drain the water out to remove excess starch.
  2. Wash your lentils with water at least twice. 
  3. Now take your lentils and put them in a pan (a small pan is ideal). Add about 2.5 cups of water to your lentils and a little turmeric.
  4. Now cook your lentils until they boil and are cooked and soft  (about 10 minutes). 
  5. Now turn the heat from the stove off and then cover your lentils with a lid. Give this about 5-10 minutes. 

Okay now time for the tadka. Here’s my default one:

    Tadka

    Ingredients:

    1. 1 teaspoons of cumin seeds
    2. 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds
    3. 2-3 chilies
    4. 1  small ginger, thinly sliced 
    5. 7 curry leaves
    6. 5 small tomatoes, chopped 
    7. 2 tablespoons of ghee

    Instructions:

    1. Heat a small pan and once its heated add the ghee
    2. Now once the ghee starts to smoke, add the cumin seeds, mustard seeds, chopped chilies, ginger, and curry leaves
    3. Now add the tomatoes and mix everything well. 
    4. Tadka is done!

    Now add the tadka to the dhal and stir in.

    Serve

    Thai “Limelight” Ice Cream

    Ingredients:

    1. 2 cups of coconut milk
    2. 1 cup of lime juice
    3. 1/4 cup of palm sugar syrup or maple syrup
    4. A pinch of sea salt
    5. 1/2 teaspoon of finely chopped lemongrass

    Instrucitons:

    Instructions:

    1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl thoroughly (if the coconut cream is too thick you’ll need to whisk it and then add the other ingredients and mix EVERYTHING thoroughly).
    2. Pour the mixture ice cream maker and churn until you get an ice cream texture.
    3. Serve your Limelight Ice cream!

    My favorite ice cream basil seed drink (VEGAN)

    Ingredients:

    1. 1 cup of vegan vanilla ice cream
    2. 4 spoons of rose syrup
    3. 1/8 cup of rose water
    4. 4 spoons of soaked basil seeds
    5. 2 spoons of rose powder

    Instructions:

    1. Put the ice cream, rose syrup, rose powder, and rose water in a mug and mix well. You want to mix it such as that there is some but not too much of the ice cream like texture left but not in a way where it becomes more like a milky texture and such that it turns pink.
    2. Add the basil seeds to the mixture and mix them into the mixture.
    3. Serve and enjoy!

      My favorite rose ice cream

      Ingredients:

      1. 1.5 cup of regular A2 milk
      2. 1/4 cup of rose syrup that’s organic and clean
      3. 3 tablespoons of rose water
      4. 1 cup of heavy cream made of A2 milk
      5. 4 tablespoons of lemon juice
      6. A tiny pinch of salt
      7. 1/4 of soaked cashews
      8. 1/4 cup of soaked pistachios
      9. 1/4 cup of rose petals

      Instructions:

      1. Firstly, keep your churner in the freezer until its very cold (at least 12-24 hours).
      2. Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until you have a smooth texture.
      3. Get your churner ready so that it can churn your mixture, put your mixture in to your churner and churn until you have your ice cream texture.

      Indian rose cashew ice cream shake- VEGAN

      Ingredients:

      1. 2 cups of cashew milk
      2. 1 cup of vegan vanilla ice cream
      3. 1/4 cup of rose water
      4. 1/8 cup of rose petals
      5. 4 tablespoons of cardamom powder
      6. 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
      7. A little high quality saffron powder (optional but you can add for color if you want).
      8. A tiny pinch of Himalayan salt

      Instructions:

      1. Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until your shake have a milkshake like texture.
      2. That’s it, serve!

      Boondi raita recipe

      Ingredients:

      1. 1/4 cup of boondi (please find this at your local indian store)
      2. 1 cup of organic yogurt
      3. 1 tbsp cumin powder
      4. 1/2 tbsp of chili powder
      5. 1 tbsp of chaat masala (please find this at your local indian store)
      6. 2 tbsp of cilantro leaves
      7. 2 tbsp of fresh curry leaves

      Instrucitons:

      1. Put the yogurt in a bowl.
      2. Add your cumin powder, chili powder, and chaat masala to the yogurt and stir well.
      3. Now add your cilantro leaves, curry leaves, and boondi to the mixture that you made in step 2.
      4. Mix well and serve your boondi raitha.
